Nestled among vast expanses of natural landscapes, this modern mountain home balances the authentic elements of nature - wood, stone, water, and sky - with the stun-ning amenities of a modern home. Utilizing windows to substitute artwork with views of nature brings the experience of the outdoors in. The focal point of this project was the view. From the beginning a focus on featuring and highlighting nature was the core concept of this modern house in the big woods. Through thoughtful design and intuitive architecture this project rendered a stunning home that is both warm, expansive, and complementary to the natural surroundings. This organic modern home feels simultaneously brand new and gently settled into the landscape.
